Abby Eblen MD is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and subspecialty certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
She is a native of Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences where she received her medical degree. While at the University of Tennessee, she was selected as the outstanding OB/GYN student in her class and was given the Upjohn Achievement Award for outstanding scholarship, leadership, and service. Dr. Eblen was also invited to join Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Dr. Eblen completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida and received her subspecialty training at the University of Louisville, where she was selected as the outstanding fellow.
During her fellowship, she developed expertise in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, tubal reanastomosis, and surgery for the removal of uterine fibroids. She also gained expertise in the management of patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and in all aspects of assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
After completing fellowship training, Dr. Eblen became an assistant professor at the University of Louisville. While there, she published several papers and was invited to present her research at national meetings. She received an award from the Society for Gynecologic Investigation for her research in the area of implantation. In addition, she received the National Faculty Award and received the APGO Teaching Award for outstanding resident and student teaching.
Dr. Eblen joined Nashville Fertility Center in 2002, and recognizes the importance of the emotional as well as the physical aspects of infertility, and strives to treat the patient with both in mind.
